Saxophonist Tracie Washington-Scott, The Atmosphere Changer, was born and raised in Macon, Ga. She started playing the saxophone in 1985 in the band at Appling Middle School in Macon, Ga. Being in the band was her only training. She fell in love with the sound of the instrument. She describes it as soothing and relaxing! It pulls on your heartstrings. MUSIC changes the atmosphere. Which is why she refers to herself as the Atmosphere Changer. She is influenced by Kenny G because of his sound and how relax he plays. She enjoys being able to share her talent with the world. Tracie has performed at numerous of events, weddings, funerals, and celebrations. She is respected as one of the top saxophonists.
